Now Showing in the CAMP Gallery
Artist Donna Deely calls both New Hope, Pennsylvania and Rehoboth Beach, Delaware home. Donna’s work will be featured in the CAMP Rehoboth Gallery throughout the month of June, with an opening reception on June 11, from 4-6 p.m. The eclectic show includes the whimsical Cow on the cover of this issue of Letters from CAMP Rehoboth. Donna’s work is also available in the Studio Art Gallery in New Hope, PA.
Wish You Were Here Postcard Exhibit
With Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and Twitter, postcards might seem to be obsolete, though there is still something elegant about receiving a hand written postcard. Wish You Were Here, the history of Rehoboth postcards, is the latest exhibit at the Rehoboth Beach Historical Society and Museum at 511 Rehoboth Avenue. The postcard exhibit opens June 9 and runs throughout the summer. For info visit rehobothbeachmuseum.org.
Cocktail Party for Kathy McGuiness
On May 29, Edward Chrzanowski (left) and Andrew Koneschusky (red shirt), and others, hosted a fundraiser at 200 Laurel Street in Rehoboth Beach to support Kathy McGuiness in her bid to become Lt. Governor. Delaware Speaker of the House Pete Schwartzkopf (right) introduced Kathy to the crowd gathered for the event. Kathy is currently a RB City Commissioner, and serves on the Board of Directors of CAMP Rehoboth.
DCF Leaders Visit CAMP Rehoboth
The new President and CEO of Delaware Community Foundation (DCF), Stuart Comstock-Gay, and its Senior Vice President in Southern Delaware, William Allen, visited the CAMP Rehoboth Community Center on May 16. Diving for Life Donates to CAMP
On May 16, CAMP Rehoboth Executive Director Steve Elkins, accepted a check for CAMP Rehoboth from Leslie Sinclair and Debbie Woods on behalf of Diving for Life, an LGBT diving foundation.
CAMP Volunteers Sundance Mailing
Over 25 CAMP Rehoboth volunteers showed up on May 24 to handle the massive Sundance 2016 Sponsor and Host mailing—and finished the job in record time! Sundance is CAMP Rehoboth’s biggest fundraising event of the year, so please consider signing up to support the event this year.
