Fay J’s Aging Gracelessly—April 10 at CAMP Rehoboth
Back from a road tour, and before heading to her NYC premier at the Duplex Cabaret on Christopher Street, Fay Jacobs has booked one more public performance of Aging Gracelessly: 50 Shades of Fay at the CAMP Rehoboth Community Center.
While Fay will be doing an afternoon performance for Women’s FEST this year, she has also added a Sunday, April 10 show at 7 p.m., open to the public, to benefit CAMP Rehoboth.
Tickets, are $20 and are now available on the CAMP website.
Jacobs’ recent tour included a performance on the Olivia Caribbean Escape cruise, shows in Provincetown, New Orleans at the Hotel Monteleone plus performances in Ft Lauderdale and Vero Beach, Florida and more.
The show is comprised of two short acts (with an intermission for cocktails!) based, in part, on Jacobs’ four published memoirs. But it’s not just a reading from Fay’s books. The show features an all-new narrative covering LGBT issues, Rehoboth’s proud history and the fight for marriage equality.
At its core, the reading highlights the author’s insistence that nothing is ever so horrible if it’s worth the story you can tell.
So come along for the ride as Fay and her wife Bonnie share life in one boat, two condos, two houses, and an RV, loving a successioan of Schnauzers, and each other.
