Get Ready to Laugh Like Crazy
Vickie Shaw to be on stage at CAMP Rehoboth June 2 with a brand new show!
Comic Vickie Shaw, a Rehoboth favorite (okay, an international favorite!) will be on stage at the CAMP Rehoboth Community Center (37 Baltimore Avenue) on Friday, June 2, for two performances. When we found out that Vickie was coming in from Texas for a show at another mid-Atlantic venue, we couldn’t pass up an opportunity to bring her back to Rehoboth Beach which we know is one of her favorite places to perform. She has a brand new show, and we’re getting a preview.
For more than 20 years Vickie Shaw has kept the women of Olivia laughing, and she has performed in Rehoboth on numerous occasions. Now, it’s time for the men of Rehoboth to find out why everyone is laughing. With her blond hair, lipstick, and polished nails, her stories about her partner Sgt. Patch, life in the Lone Star state, and her take on the LGBT community will have you howling. If you haven’t seen her before, once she opens her mouth, you’ll know she was born and raised in Texas, and you’ll never stop laughing.
On TV she’s been seen on Comedy Central, four comedy specials on LOGO, and much more. This community-minded comic performs for HRC and GLAAD events, plus innumerable Pride festivals around the country. Her “take no prisoners” comedy is incredibly hilarious, and her appearances are always a smash.
Come one, come all, as we celebrate our diversity! The gals know her well. Guys, come see what the fuss is all about. You’ll love her, too!
Make sure you are in the audience at the CAMP Rehoboth Community Center on June 2 when Vickie Shaw takes the stage for two shows only at 7 and 9 p.m.
