We initially supported CAMP Rehoboth because of its fundraising efforts for HIV/AIDS. As our community changed over the years, CAMP Rehoboth evolved to support its unique needs. CAMP has influenced tremendous political, social, and cultural change that has benefited everyone in Rehoboth Beach. As Will Rogers once said, “Even if you are on the right track, you will get run over if you just sit there.” To its credit, CAMP Rehoboth doesn’t rest on its laurels—it keeps changing to meet the diverse needs of our community, yet always remains true to its mission. CAMP Rehoboth now advocates for all kinds of issues…and there is a place for all of us to help in that work.
