CAMP Rehoboth Chorus Performs at Sussex Academy in Georgetown on April 8
"Bravo...a wonderful concert. We thoroughly enjoyed it." "The Chorus was awesome." "Great show!" If you missed this sold-out concert in February, you are in luck. The CAMP Rehoboth Chorus will present an encore performance of Can’t Stop the Beat! on Sunday, April 8 at 3 p.m. at Sussex Academy of the Arts in Georgetown (directly across Route 9 from the CHEER Center).
The Chorus will again move the audience along in a spirited celebration of music. Led by Doug Yetter with David Zipse on piano, Glen Luedtke on trumpet, Cody Leavel on woodwinds, Roseann Mattei on guitar, George Freeman on Bass, and Ken Schleiffer on drums, the show will feature Broadway hits, rock and roll, big band music, swing, ragtime, and the blues. The Chorus is especially thrilled to be singing at Sussex Academy for the first time. The stage, seating, and acoustics there are akin to Broadway and should provide an outstanding venue for the show. The concert will include an ALS interpreter.
Tickets are $25. They are available on the CAMP Rehoboth website camprehoboth.com, or by calling CAMP Rehoboth at 302-227-5620. Tickets for the February performances were sold out in advance with many in the audience planning to see the show again in Georgetown. Don’t miss out. Order your tickets now!
The CAMP Rehoboth Chorus is supported in part, by grants from the Delaware Division of the Arts, a state agency dedicated to nurturing and supporting the arts in Delaware, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts.
