Volunteer on Vacation
CAMP Rehoboth's Volunteer on Vacation (VOV) program offers community service opportunities to all. Part-timers, residents, vacationers, all are welcome to lend a hand as we work to improve Rehoboth and its surrounding communities.
The Volunteer on Vacation season of service runs all year long. Community service projects may include: providing enriching activities for under-served children, supplying services for senior citizens, and improving our environment. Projects are held not only in the local area of Rehoboth, but in Lewes and the surrounding communities.
Volunteers on Vacation can be seen around town in our bright green tee shirts, or at the CAMP Rehoboth Chorus Concert in our vests and bow ties, helping by ushering. Gardening, painting, working with kids, or greeting people at a concert, the VOV has something for everybody. The good news is, no special skills are required, just a few hours to contribute toward making a difference.
From the transformation of gardens for senior citizens, to the excited look on the faces of children visiting a farm, and the feeling of accomplishment upon viewing the freshly renovated home of a person in need, all Volunteer on Vacation community service projects are fun and rewarding. And they build new relationships in the process.
