The Kent and Sussex AIDS Program (KSAP) is sponsoring a number of programs for the southern Delaware gay and bisexual communities, tailored around individual, group, and instructional settings concerning HIV prevention, community involvement, and resource awareness.
Kitchen BizarresOpen your house to your friends and KSAP, and open your mind to the possibilities of widening the sense of community in our state. Kitchen Bizarres are programs run by YOU, with us along for the ride to give topics of conversation. Make it a theme night (tacos, pizza, subs); well bring the essentials (plates, cups, etc.) and information so your guests leave with full bellies and minds filled with new ideas.
Coming Out GroupIts a giant step in the life of a person, but its not something that you have to do alone. Whether youre thinking about coming out and need questions answered, or have just recently come out and need help adjusting, or came out long ago and can give some friendly advice, this is the group for you! We meet Tuesdays from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at MCC in Rehoboth. Join us! Everyone is welcome.
Man to ManPrimarily designed as a support group for HIV negative men, it is in actuality a group for all gay men who want to talk with other gay men in a non-bar setting. Discussions range from relationships to family to books, and its always a good time. Man to Man meets Tuesdays, 4-6 p.m. in the Children and Families First building in Lewes.
Sports Anyone? How about playing tennis or volleyball, two of the hottest summer sports? KSAP is sponsoring a coed four on four volleyball tournament in August and a mens tennis tournament in July.
