Donate a Phone and Help Abuse Victims |
The Donate a Phone Campaign is a national wireless phone collection drive designed to provide domestic violence victims with a powerful tool to fight domestic violence, a wireless phone. The program is a partnership between the Wireless Foundation, the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Motorola. Emergency airtime is donated by Cellular Telecommunications Industry Association.
Victims of domestic violence receive donated wireless phones and matching airtime. The CALL to PROTECT phones are pre-programmed to dial 9-1-1 and one non-emergency number enabling a victim to summon help with the push of a button. If you have a wireless phone(s) that you no longer need, please consider donating it to CALL to PROTECT. Any and all wireless phones are accepted. CAMP Rehoboth would like to make it easy for you to support the Donate a Phone Campaign. Drop off unwanted phones (and accessories) at CAMP Rehoboth, 39 Baltimore Avenue, and we'll take care of shipping them to Motorola at our expense. Working together, we can make a difference. Further information on the Donate a Phone Campaign can be found at www.donateaphone.com. |
