Christina M. Gelnett February 5, 1973 - August 20, 2003
Tina Gelnett died suddenly from a brain aneurysm on Wednesday, August 20, 2003 at Christiana Hospital in Wilmington, DE. Tina is survived by her life partner of 4 years, Teresa Adkins, and Teresa's two sons, Billy and Josh, of Laurel. Tina is also survived by her father and stepmother, Butch and Peggy Gelnett, two brothers, BJ and Jeremy Gelnett, her mother, Johann Neimer, grandparents Bert and Mildred Dillingham, and Shirley Klugh, all of Pennsylvania. Originally from Pennsylvania, Tina moved to Delaware in 1999 shortly after meeting Teresa in Rehoboth Beach. Tina graduated from Garden Spot High School in 1991, and worked for the US Postal Service in Seaford, Delaware. Tina loved animals, but had a special passion for dolphins, having spent many hours at the beach watching them swim. Tina was a caring, loving, and very special young woman. Because she was an organ donor, she has touched the lives of those she never knew. A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 30, 2003. Joey Tunnell November 29, 1960 - November 29, 2003 On Saturday, November 29, 2003, Joseph E. Tunnell of Dagsboro, Delaware, and originally of Belltown, passed away in the Intensive Care Unit of Nanticoke Memorial Hospital. It was his 43rd birthday. His is survived by husband Bob, dearest friend, Earl Erdman, beloved niece Aretha Tunnell, brothers, sisters, and a plethora of nieces and nephews whom he adored and with whom he kept in constant contact. A private family viewing was held, followed by a memorial service to celebrate his life and all the lives he touched. Those interested in making donations are urged to do something special for someone they love. |
