...for the Delaware Humane Association
You've probably seen one of the two proprietors of Detail Gallery walking along Baltimore Avenue with a trio of Boston Terriers pulling him in three different directions at once. The leader of the pack (and the youngest) is Mirabelle, the suddenly famous spokesdog of Detail Gallery. Now, the cute black and white Boston Terrierwho has starred in The Adventures of Mirabelle, and inspired posters, art, clothing and doggy treatshas really ramped up the ante. Detail and its mascot will be sponsoring The Really BIG Mirabelle Showan art invitational where the gallery artists have all been asked to do their own interpretation of Ms. Mirabelle. All of the artwork will be on display and for sale starting Saturday July 4th from 3-8 p.m. (prior to the fireworks) and the show will run throughout July. How can one small dog inspire 31 different artists with 31 different styles? Come see for yourself. And have a great time for a great cause as well. A portion of all Mirabelle sales will benefit the Delaware Humane Associationbecause, as Detail Gallery owner Michael Muller says, "Mirabelle knows what a lucky dog she is and also knows there are other animals in the world that don't have the wonderful family and support that she has. Detail Gallery and Mirabelle are all about giving back." Since the Really BIG Mirabelle Show takes place on Independence Day, Mirabelle hopes that the funds raised will help bring lots of loving dogs the freedom to have loving families. Not only will there be art to enjoy on July 4th, but great food, fun prizes and of course, Mirabelle herself hostessing the event and making her own kind of July 4th fireworks. The gallery offers paintings, photography, mixed media and ceramics as well as dcor for the home and lots of Mirabelle merchandise like greeting cards, totes, T-shirts, coffee mugs and hats. Stop by and check out the art and all the Mirabelle products. The Mirabelle show will run for the month of July.
