Jack Herholdt—One Night Only at CAMP
Two years ago, Delaware native Jack Herholdt brought his cabaret act to CAMP Rehoboth for one performance. The show was such a success that Jack agreed to bring an updated version of his musical cabaret about love and relationships to CAMP Rehoboth on Monday, June 20 at 8 p.m. The event is free but seating is limited. Horse of a Different Color—Pride Art at CAMP Rehoboth
Celebrate pride art through the month of June at the CAMP Rehoboth Community Center, 37 Baltimore Avenue, with art by Delaware LGBT artists. Love committee members Michael Fetchko, Keith Petrack, and Karl Zoric are gearing up to promote this year’s Red Love, Blue Love, and Lady Love dances. Tickets for the July 4th weekend events will be available at the tent on the beach on June 18, June 25, and July 1-3. CAMP Party—Philly Meets Rehoboth
Philadelphia native, and Rehoboth weekender, Claire Ippoliti, wanted to introduce her friends to the work of CAMP Rehoboth in her weekend community, so she hosted a party at her beach house to spread the word. Beach Blanket Bingo In Rehoboth Beach
CAMP Rehoboth’s Glen Pruitt was on hand to explain the work of the CAMP Rehoboth Community Center at the Beach Blanket Bingo game over Memorial weekend in Rehoboth Beach. The event, held at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center, raised funds for AIDS Delaware, Delaware Pride, The Rainbow Chorale, and CAMP Rehoboth. Frogg Pond Karaoke Winners Chosen
After six weeks, the winner’s have been chosen in the Frogg Pond’s “Best Karaoke Singer” contest. Congratulations to Gary Miller (audience favorite), and Alicia Dennis (judges favorite).
Rehoboth Police Investigate Assault
The Rehoboth Beach Police are investigating an assault and robbery that occurred on Sunday, May 29 in the area of King Charles Avenue and Stockley Street. Christopher Johnson was walking alone in the area at approximately 11:30 p.m. and was hit from behind by what he described as three to four black males, at least one of the subjects was wearing a red hoodie type jacket and possibly a white/black striped shirt. Mr. Johnson suffered a broken nose and multiple contusions during the incident and his iPhone was stolen.
