Gallery 50 Silent Auction Raises Funds for AIDS Delaware
Rehoboth’s Gallery 50 held its fourth annual Fine Art Auction to benefit AIDS Delaware on August 11. The event featured a silent auction and raffle. Patricia Racette Visits RB For Opera At The Beach
Soprano Particia Racette, a leading artist of the Metropolitan Opera and the Washington National Opera graced the stage at Cape Henlopen High School Theatre on August 18 for a concert that benefited the Rollins School of Nursing at Beebe, and Coastal Concerts. AIDS Walk Delaware Is Set For Sept. 29
The annual AIDS Walk will take place on Saturday, Sept. 29 in Rehoboth Beach and Wilmington. For the first time, this 5K walk will be held at the two locations simultaneously, bringing Delawareans together in the fight against the disease. Three Day ALS Event Benefits Team Ted
Join Team Ted for a weekend of fun in their efforts to raise money and awareness in the fight against ALS. Friday, Sept. 7 from 5-8 p.m. is a wine and food tasting at CAMP Rehoboth. Lambda Car Club Returns To RB
The Straight Eights Region of the Lambda Car Club International (LCCI) will host the Beach Ball 2012 Grand Invitational September 20-23 in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. This event promises to bring approximately 350 participants from across the country, as well as Canada, Belgium, France, and England. The highlight of the event will be the car show on the beach block of Baltimore Ave. on September 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The show will feature 150 cars, all of which must be registered participants of the Beach Ball Grand Invitational. The car show is open to the public, and you’re invited to stroll down Baltimore Ave. and see the display cars.
There will also be a "Wheels and Wing" car show at the Air Command Museum at Dover Air Force Base on September 21 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. This show is also open to public viewing and will combine the museums fine collection of military air craft with classic cars from the same era.
The purpose of the LCCI is the enjoyment and exchange of information on old and special interest motor vehicles, combined with social fellowship by gay people interested in such vehicles. RAMS Group Goes Dolphin Watching
The Rehoboth Area Men’s Social (RAMS) Group is sponsoring a dolphin watching cruise on Saturday, Sept. 22. The $29 cost includes the cruise and continental breakfast.

On The Road With Letters from CAMP Rehoboth
Letters was all over the globe recently. We visited the island of Capri, Italy with Joe Nichols and Steve Kimball, then it was off to Montreal with Michael Fetchko and Keith Petrack. We took a cruise down the Seine River in France with Linda Kemp and Shay Lipshitz, and we finally ended at Leeds Castle in Kent, England on a trip with Dave Gold. Take us along on your next vacation.
