Thank you to everyone who came out to the L Bar on Saturday, December 8 to support our 5th annual Toy Drive. I'm always amazed by the generosity and kindness of our Rehoboth Beach community, and this year you really took this event to a new level, with a record-setting turnout. Combined with donations received at CAMP Rehoboth, we collected 556 toys, 252 Hats/Gloves, and 16 Coats.
Your help truly made a difference during the holidays for the children and families of the Sussex County HIV Wellness Clinic and of West Rehoboth. These families are often outside the reach of traditional fundraising efforts, and your contributions were distributed to those most in need.
Every year, there are many who help to make this possible: Mark and John for hosting the event at the L Bar, Steve Elkins and Sal Seeley of CAMP Rehoboth for promoting and donating ad space in Letters, and additional collection points for those who couldn't make it to the event, Bryan Hecksher and Sal for once again delivering the toys, and to Josh Pennington (Mr. Double L Leather 2012) who helped make everyone feel more welcome.
You are fine examples of what makes our community great.

All of us here at the Christiana Wellness Clinic are truly grateful to you and CAMP Rehoboth for the donation of children’s toys and clothing items. It means so much to our patients to be able to provide holiday gifts to their children, and relieves them of one of the many burdens they carry.
This year you collected a staggering amount of gifts, and we were overwhelmed by the generosity of the donors. Except for that one incident of a staff member riding a skateboard in the hallway, it was the best Christmas ever!
Thank you so much for your gifts, and for your support all through the year.
