Sundance Land and Sea Adds Biathlon
In previous years, the Sundance 5k kicked off the Sundance week, and it will again this year, only now participants can also walk, swim, or compete in a biathlon (½ mile swim/5k run). The event takes place on Sunday, August 25, at 8 a.m. at the Rehoboth Beach Bandstand, and is produced by Seashore Striders and benefits CAMP Rehoboth. CAMP Rehoboth Health Day
Thanks to the dedicated nurses from Beebe Medical Center, and the hard work of Sal Seeley, CAMP Rehoboth offered free health screening to the community on July 20.
Condom Stuffer Volunteers at CAMP
Ever wonder where all those CAMPsafe condom packets come from? A lot of busy hands! CAMP volunteers gathered July 24 to make some of the 20,000 condom packets handed out each year.

Longtime CAMP Rehoboth volunteer Chris Sampson celebrated the recent publication of his memoir, Forty Years in the Closet, with a book signing at Proud Bookstore on Baltimore Avenue.
Celebrating Same-Sex Weddings in DE
Since the Supreme Court declared DOMA unconstitutional last month, the wedding bells have not stopped ringing for couples in our community. Last week, we celebrated as Rick Bane and Steve Hoult, as well as Kathy Wiz and Muriel Hogan said, “I do!”
