My partner Eda Lou Higgins and I have achieved our long time dream. We have joined the ranks of those persons known as permanent residents of the Rehoboth area.
We are excited to let you know about a line of merchandise with the Rehoboth Hobo logo which we are producing and marketing. Watch for it in local stores beginning in the Spring of 1998. Its great to be A REHOBOTH HOBO, as you can tell from the poem.
Thanks,
Patty Brittingham
A Rehoboth Hobo P.L.B, 1994
I became a Rehoboth Hobo at the ripe age of fifty-three my dream came true just laying low since the age my eyes could see the sea.
Becoming a local in a little beach town feels as natural as morning sun just getting familiar with my way around is exciting, rewarding, and lots of fun.
I find the town to be clean and safe the people open and warm a nice place for that last third of my life breeds feelings of thanks for my being born.
A loving partner to plan life with and a home to spend our time I never believed Id have these gifts giving me reason to put words to rhyme.
