When youre planning your return to Rehoboth later this summer, dont forget to call these Rehoboth hot spots. Listed below are brief overviews of some of the best lodging Rehoboth has to offer. However, this list is not all inclusive. Please call the numbers of the individual businesses for more details or reservations. AT MELISSAS 36 DELAWARE AVE. 227-7504 800-396-8090 "A big comfortable beach house." At Melissas has 6 rooms with your choice of King or Queen sized beds. There is a main living room with a big TV where guests can hang out. Some of the amenities At Melissas offers are: off-street parking, AC, grills, front porch, back yard, and an expanded continental breakfast. The clientele is mixed and all are welcome. Guests enjoy a relaxed, comfortable, and friendly atmosphere. Rates for this season range from $90-$170 during the week, and $115-$195 on weekends. CABANA GARDENS 20 LAKE AVE. 227-5429 "A quiet retreat in the heart of Rehoboth." Cabana Gardens offers 5 contemporary rooms with a panoramic view of Lake Gerar from each. There are three levels of garden filled decks, with a sun deck to top it off. Amenities at Cabana Gardens include: continental breakfast in the Florida Room, shared wet bar, off street parking, private baths, AC, cable TV, and ceiling fans. The clientele is mixed and everyone is welcome. Guests can enjoy the wicker and antiques inside, and the fish pond outside. Rates are $70-$95 Mon thru Thurs, and $120-$160 Fri, Sat, Sun. CHESAPEAKE LANDING 101 CHESAPEAKE ST. 227-2973 A Frank Lloyd Wright inspired contemporary house, Chesapeake Landing has four guest rooms. The large TV sitting room is a place for guests to congregate. Outside is Lake Comegeas, and steps away, Poodle Beach. Paddle boats and row boats are available for guest use. Amenities include: buffet breakfast, heated swimming pool, AC, private bath, and parking. The two-year-old house provides a quiet, relaxing, friendly atmosphere. The clientele is mixed and all are welcome. Rates range from $150-$225 a night. MALLARD GUEST HOUSE 60 BALTIMORE AVE. & 67 LAKE AVE. 226-3448 With fine furnishings and antiques, the Mallard provides a relaxing vacation atmosphere. There are 7 guest rooms at the Mallard. Amenities include: gourmet continental breakfast, off-street parking, private baths, AC, and TV. The house on Baltimore Avenue offers a hot tub and a sun deck. Steps from downtown shops. Clientele is mixed and all are welcome. Rates range from $85-$225 a night. THE RAMS HEAD BED & BREAKFAST ROUTE 1 226-9171 "A Key West style compound" right in Rehoboth! The Rams Head has 9 rooms with queen size beds, TVs, VCRs, and refrigerators in each. Smoking is allowed in the entire house. Amenities include: heated pool, gazebo, video library, sauna, hot tub, cabana, full gym, and a full breakfast. Beautiful landscaping and decorating accentuate the house. The Rams Head is for men only. Rates range from $110-$140 per night. REHOBOTH GUEST HOUSE 40 MARYLAND AVE. 227-4117 The Rehoboth Guest House is a newly restored 100 year old Victorian house. They have 12 rooms made up of double, queen, and king beds. There are private baths for the guests, as well as outside showers. The Guest House focuses on the beach atmosphere. With a comfortable, beachy atmosphere guests can relax. Decorated simply and tastefully, hardwood floors and wicker furniture accent the house. There is an expanded continental breakfast served each morning. Rates: $75 weeknights, and $125 weekend nights. SAND IN MY SHOES 6th & CANAL ST. 226-2006 Sand in My Shoes has 11 rooms with either a double bed, two double beds, a king size bed, or an efficiency. It offers a beachy friendly atmosphere for everyone. Amenities include: off-street parking, hot tub, private bath, AC, TV, frig, sun deck, bikes, and breakfast that is "more than continental!" One great attraction: you can bring a pet. Rates range from $110-$157. SEA N STARS 44 DELAWARE AVE. 226-2742 Sea n Stars offers 2 apartment guest suites. Amenities include private baths, along with outdoor showers, AC, cable TV, front porch, and off-street parking. It is a very friendly atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable and at home. There is great energy at this beach resort. Guests have access to a full kitchen. The clientele is mostly women, but all are welcome. Rates range from $100-$190. THE SHORE INN AT REHOBOTH 703 REHOBOTH AVE. 227-8487 800-597-8899 The Shore Inn at Rehoboth is a resort mostly for men, but all are welcome. There are 14 rooms which all include: coffee pots, refrigerators, cable TV, AC, phones, and private parking. The Shore Inn also offers a pool and hot tub in its back yard. An enhanced breakfast is served daily. Smoking is allowed everywhere. There is a happy hour on Fridays and Saturdays. Rates range from $95-$140 per night. SILVER LAKE GUEST HOUSE 133 SILVER LAKE DR. 227-2115 800-842-2115 The contemporary, clean atmosphere provides for a quiet relaxing vacation. There are 13 rooms in the main house all with private baths, TV, AC, and some with balconies and refrigerators. Across from the house is Silver Lake and the ocean! There is also a Carriage house which offers two apartments. Amenities include: sun deckwith a view of the lake & oceansun room, off street parking, and a front porch. The porch, decorated with English Garden Furniture, is a great place for the guests to meet each other. Clientele is mixed and everyone is welcome. Rates range from: $110-$125 weekdays and $140-$175 weekends. There are mid week and weekly discounts. CAPE SUITES 47 BALTIMORE AVE. 226-3347 Cape Suites is made up of two bedroom units which include double beds, king beds, wet bars, microwaves, refrigerators, TVs, and AC There are 8 such units. There is parking for one car and pets are allowed. There is a $10 charge for each person over 2 per room. Children are free. Rates are $115 Mon- Thur, and $135 Fri-Sun. THE LIGHTHOUSE INN 20 DELAWARE AVE.226-0407 800-600-9092 The Lighthouse Inn offers a quiet setting with a nautical theme. There are 6 guest rooms (twin, double, queen beds). Each room has AC, TV, VCR, and refrigerator. One apartment with full kitchen and 1 1/2 baths is also available. Along with the fireplace in the main TV room is an assortment of videos for guest use. Off-street parking, front porch, and outdoor patio are some features. Clientele is mixed and all are welcome. Rates range from $75-$110 weekday, and $90-$135 weekends. THE RENEGADE 4274 ROUTE 1 227-4713 Along with the dance bar, the restaurant, and entertainment lounge, the Renegade offers 28 guest rooms. Each room is ACitioned and has two double beds or one king bed and a private bath. There are economy and deluxe rooms. Smoking is allowed and so are your pets. Parking is available and a continental breakfast is served each morning. Rates range from $70-$125 per night. SUMMER PLACE HOTEL 1st & OLIVE 226-0766 800-815-3925 The Summer Place Hotel has a whopping 23 rooms and 3 apts/condos. The rooms include: TV, air cond., private bath, refrigerators, and double beds. Smoking is permitted on one floor. Coffee is served on the deck in the morning. Cclientele is very mixed in this beach resort. There is a two day minimum on weekends. Rates are $90 weekdays, and $150 weekends. WOODYS GUEST ROOMS 3 FIELD LAND (OFF ROUTE 1) 226-2020 Woodys Guest Rooms has 5 roomssome shared, some private baths. There is TV and air conditioning in the rooms. Outside, you can find a pool and spa. Smoking is allowed in all areas and your pets are allowed in one of the guest rooms. Guests have kitchen privileges. Rates are: $70 weekdays and $95 weekends. Clientele is mostly male, but all are welcome. THE NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK THE DELAWARE INN 55 DELAWARE AVE. 227-6031 Ron Baird and Tom Peters recently took over the Delaware Inn. The house reflects "Southern hospitality with a mix of New England charm." There are 7 roomssome have semi-private and some have private baths. Central air cools them all. Each room is a different theme. Antiques from around the world decorate the rooms. A continental breakfast is served in the morninghome cooked by Ron. On Sundays a hot dish is served as well. In the afternoons a wine and cheese delight brings guests together. Ron and Tom also offer a boxed lunch special if you want to get away and take some food with you. Bikes and beach chairs are around the back for guest use. There is off-street parking and smoking is allowed on the front porch. The atmosphere is very friendly; all are welcome. Ron and Tom stress, "Its your vacation, we want you to have a good time." Rates range from $85-$95 weekdays and $95-$125 weekends. THE ROYAL ROSE INN 41 BALTIMORE AVE. 226-2535 Another new addition is the Royal Rose Inn, recently purchased by Andy Dorosky and Greg Oliver. There are 7 rooms, 5 with private bath, 2 shared. All are air conditioned and have either a queen bed or a double bed. There is off street parking available. In the morning a continental breakfast is served. A common living area is centered around a big TV. The front porch is a gathering place for guests to enjoy their breakfast. Andy says, "We want to make this a comfortable home-style Bed and Breakfastwhere everyone is comfortable." The clientele is mixed and all are welcome. Rates: $70-$90 weekdays and $100-$130 weekends. |
