LETTERS From CAMP Rehoboth |
CAMP Rehoboth Community Center Founder's Circle |

Haven't each one of us at one time or another thought about what it would take to build our dream house? Some of you more than likely have built the house of your dreams, either here in Rehoboth or in some other location, so you know what it takes. It takes holding on to your dream and it takes a lot of planning to make it happen. All of us involved in the CAMP Rehoboth Community Center Project have done lots of dreaming and planning. From the Project Advisory Committee who spent time and energy on how to make the Community Center dream a reality, to the Founder's Circle members who have supported the dream with their contributions to the capital campaign, it has been a community effort.
When CAMP Rehoboth purchased the 39 Baltimore Avenue property this past spring, obtaining the mortgage was just the first phase of the expansion into a full-service Community Center. In order to have adequate space in which people can easily interact and meet, CAMP will begin working with an architectural firm to move us into the second phase of development in which we'll see expansion of the existing buildings. As a visitor or part-time resident, imagine arriving in Rehoboth on a Friday evening and picking up tickets for a weekend event at the Community Center office, or maybe going to a Saturday evening author's reading there, or on Sunday, to an art exhibit. Or maybe you live in Rehoboth and will become interested in a mentoring program, or join a seminar on starting a business, or utilize the Center's resources available to you seven days a week in your own backyard. You can be a part of taking this dream from an idea to a reality. We need your continued contributions-large or small. Remember, with each brick laid, we are closer to our goal. We're not only asking for money but for contributions to the vision of the Community Center. Like building your own dream home, this, too, will be our dream together-our Center, the Heart of the Community.
