20th Anniversary Sundance Benefit
Get on board! Labor Day Weekend is launch time for Sundance 2007: The Fantastic Voyage of the Starship Rainbow. This will be the 20th Anniversary of the Sundance Benefit and we hope to make it our very best Sundance to date. Sundance 2007 will take place at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center on Labor Day weekend. Saturday, September 1, from 7-10 pm, is the auction, both silent and live, with a cocktail buffet and an open bar. Sunday, September 2, from 8 pm-2 am, is the dance party with music by DJ Mark Thomas, lights by Paul Turner, and an open bar. You may remember that last year's Sundance raised an amazing $180,000. The event is CAMP Rehoboth's biggest fundraiser of the year and the income plays a major role in the budgets of both CAMP Rehoboth and Sussex County AIDS Council. CAMP Rehoboth will, again this year, donate 50% of the Sundance proceeds to SCAC. Sponsors, Supporters, and Hostsboth individual and businessare the foundation of Sundance. The Sponsor ($1,000 minimum) and Supporter ($500 minimum) levels provide the most dramatic exposure and include tickets, t-shirts, and admission to the Sundance Lounge at the dance. The Sponsor level includes logo placement on all materials. Gold levels are also available for premier placement. The Host fee ($100 for each individual or business listed) includes one ticket to each of the two events, listing on the invitation and promotional materials, and a Sundance 2007 T-shirt. We also offer a $300 individual or business Gold Host listing that includes premier placement on posters and ads. You can find out more about all the levels by visiting our web site www.sundancebenefit.com or you can call us at 302-227-5620. It is because of the generosity of the many Hosts, Supporters and Sponsors that 100% of the proceeds from the sale of tickets and auction items is donated to Sussex County AIDS Council and CAMP Rehoboth. In order to be included in the printed materials for Sundance 2007, a response is needed as soon as possible. To simplify the process, everything can be done on-line at sundancebenefit.com or, if you prefer, call, mail, e-mail, or fax your response today. There are a number of reasons that the Sundance benefit has grown through the years and remains a premier event on the east coast. Setting, decorations, lights, music and fabulous people attending begin to explain the magic. Please join the festivities and become a part of this very special anniversary event by supporting Sundance 2007. CAMPsafe Hosts Visiting AIDS Agency CAMP Rehoboth, through a contract with the University of Colorado, is looking at risk-taking by tourists and creative interventions that agencies who work with those populations might use.
