Deadline for inclusion is this Sunday, June 1. The Beach Book is the annual directory of who's who in Rehoboth's gay summer community. For 10 summers its been invaluable for remembering names or finding out what house that new cutie is in. House mothers need to email the info as described above or fill out the form on page 86 and drop it in CAMP's mailbox by this weekend; fax it to 302-227-5604, or go to www.camprehoboth.com and fill the form out online. We want you and yours to be included, so, if you have not done it, DO IT NOW!
Next Generation of Gays Buying in Rehoboth Patrick Mahoney and Martin Hicks welcomed guests into their Sixth Street beach house Sunday night for their house warming party. This barely 30 year old couple represents the leading edge of the next generation of gay home buyers in Rehoboth. Born after Judy Garland's 1969 death, this new gay generation may not appreciate what those before them have done to make Rehoboth a welcoming place, but they are embracing Rehoboth as a place to live and vacation. Several Rehoboth regulars attending this appropriately entitled Regime Change party commented they had never felt so old at a Rehoboth party as scores of 20 somethings made up the majority of attendees. Blue Moon Bachelor Auction June 14 A host of hotties are being lined up for the annual Blue Moon Bachelor Auction. $100,000 has been raised at this fundraiser in the last 7 years from donated dinners for two that may have had a total value of $10,000. Not a bad return. This years beneficiary is LOVE 2003, the July 4th weekend dance event that benefits SCAC and CAMP Rehoboth. Some of the auctionees busy priming themselves for this years event are jaw dropper John Williams, sure to be popular Brandon Gates of 4 Country Club and hot housemate Jim Filicetti, sexy Latin Ivan Gautier, Mr. Delaware contestant Will Rogers of Golds Gym, hunky Italian Eric Gelman, brawny Brian Fox, buff Ben Martin, and butch Blue Moon bartender Brad McAninch. Follies CAMP Rehoboth Follies 2003 is scheduled for Saturday, July 26. If you didn't get your tickets in time for last summers sold out Follies you missed the signature event of the summer. Nine groups of Rehoboth regulars performed zany, campy skits on the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center stage. Who knows what crazy, comic concepts will emerge on this summers Follies stage. Buy a ticket, and have a great time. Do a skit, and have the time of your life.
