In Brief |
Eat Out and Help Save Lives AIDS Delaware, the state's oldest and largest AIDS service organization serving all three counties of the state is holding Dining Out for Life at the Beach on Sunday, June 24th, in the Delaware beach resorts. This event invites people to go out for an evening of great food, friendship and fun at one of the participating restaurants while making a difference in the lives of people they may never know. How? Participating restaurants will donate 33% of their food profits that day to AIDS Delaware, allowing that agency to reach and teach more people about the HIV virus, how it can be contracted, how it effects persons of all ages and backgrounds, and AIDS itself, still a death sentence for many before their time. Taking time to eat out on a summer evening will allow AIDS Delaware to extend its reach through Counseling and Testing, Education, and Case Management for those dealing with HIV/AIDS. During the event, diners will have the opportunity to enter a drawing for a two-night stay at The Royal Rose Inn Bed and Breakfast!
