Since this is a special event, CAMP Rehoboth, through its health and wellness program, is offering this day trip for ONLY $40. This includes round-trip transportation, driver tip, and admission to the Rise Up exhibit at the Newseum!

We must have a minimum of 45 registered participants to make this trip happen. If we do not meet our minimum of 45 participants by May 15th, the trip will be refundable.

Information about the exhibit:

“Rise Up: Stonewall and the LGBTQ Rights Movement” is an exhibit that explores the modern gay rights movement in the United States, and will mark the 50th anniversary of a June 1969 police raid of the Stonewall Inn in New York’s Greenwich Village. The protests following the raid are considered to be the catalyst that inspired the modern gay liberation movement and the ongoing fight for LGBTQ civil rights.
