Craft Time With CAMP – Journal Making On a Budget

Handmade art journals are inspirational. They offer so much creative control and choice. You can determine the shape, size, and density of your art journal, and whether, and how, it is bound. You may use traditional bookbinding methods, or recycle materials such as old books or your own art.

This journal can be made with very few supplies that can be bought at the Dollar Tree or use what you already have at home.   The Journal can be used for writing and or for art. Local Artist, Barbara Buford will give you tips and tricks on how to combine writing with some art journal pages.

Some supplies you might want to have for the workshop:

Composition book

2 sheets of scrapbook paper measuring 12x12 or any paper that measures 12x24. such as wrapping paper, freezer paper, or a paper bag.

glue stick

scissors

pencils, markers, colored pencils or watercolors (pick on or two not all are needed)

magazine or some scrap papers like old book pages junk mail, or an old calendar
