"The Sharing Garden" - a FREE workshop hosted by CAMP Rehoboth

Composing Memories in the Garden and Sharing in its Abundance

Using stories of his upbringing in their family’s backyard through his evolution to becoming a landscape architect and baker enthusiast, presenter Eric Wahl will demonstrate his passion for creating special, outdoor spaces, and combine that with his love of being in the kitchen, sharing with friends and family along the way.

"It’s all about entertaining in the garden (that you designed) and sharing it with the ones you love, using all five senses: sight, smell, hearing, touch, and taste", says Eric.

Learn some indispensable principals of garden design that will help you create a lush oasis which can also be harvested for use in the kitchen.  A garden can be functional, practical, as well as aesthetically beautiful.  Along with showing how to create a vibrant garden, Eric will share a few recipes utilizing items from your own backyard.  A short session on container gardening will also be highlighted--a great option for people with small outdoor spaces.

Presenter Eric Wahl is currently the President of the Delaware Native Plant Society, teaches Landscape Design at Delaware Technical Community College, and works as a Landscape Architect at Element Design Group in Lewes.  Eric is also the author of “The Real Dirt” featured in Camp Rehoboth’s “Letters.”

This is a FREE workshop where all are welcome - but registration on EventBrite is required.
