Sharon Bousquet and Elizabeth McCain

Join us for a DOUBLE-HEADER at CAMP Rehoboth!

Two awesome performers, a folk musician and an actress with an award-winning one-woman show share the bill on Nov. 4 and 5 at CAMP Rehoboth, sponsored by CAMP Rehoboth and CAMP Rehoboth Women's FEST.

Sharon Bousquet and Elizabeth McCain are coming to CAMP Rehoboth from stellar performances around the country and in prestigious theatres all over.

Opening the show is Sharon Bousquet, a Philadelphia-born poet/singer/songwriter. Sharon followed her musical dream to Hawaii, Vancouver, BC, Austin, Texas and finally Iowa before making her way back here. She's released seven albums of original music and is now performing in our area.

Sharon was a top ten finalist in the 2016 Philadelphia Songwriter's Contest and the 2017 Musikarmageddon Solo Songwriter's Competition at the Grand Opera House in Wilmington. Many of Bousquet's original songs have been licensed for use in feature films and promotional videos including Cosmic Radio (2007), Finding Beauty (2015) and Vertical (2016).

On stage following Sharon's set will be storyteller Elizabeth McCain with her one-woman show A Lesbian Belle Tells, directed by Stephanie Garibaldi.

You'll hear true tales about growing up in Mississippi, coming out in DC, and experiencing family estrangement, love, and healing. This award-winning show encourages hope from the comfort of a rocking chair, with captivating moments of comedy and triumph over tragedy, as only a lesbian belle can tell!

Elizabeth McCain originally hails from a long line of Southern Gothic storytellers from Mississippi and Tennessee, "Bless Their Hearts!" She premiered the show at the 2014 Capital Fringe Theatre Festival in Washington, DC, where it was voted best solo show from DC Broadway World. Elizabeth is a professional storyteller and story coach, as well as a spiritual counselor, shamanic minister, and an energy therapist in Takoma Park, MD, with over 25 years of professional counseling and spiritual teaching experience.

Elizabeth has been on stage at the Improv, Wooly Mammoth Theatre, performed for HRC and the Mautner Project and much more. Don't miss this outstanding show.
