Steuart Martens - As a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach, Steuart Martens is dedicated to helping men and women live their healthiest lives. Through group workshops and one-on-one coaching, in person and online, he provides tools and knowledge to equip people to advocate for themselves as active participants in their healthcare. Workshops and coaching sessions cover a broad spectrum of health-related subjects with a focus on Type 2 Diabetes, Dementia/Alzheimer’s and Gut health.

He has taught individual and private group courses in healthy eating to both adults and children. Valuable lessons include how to read food and ingredient labels, strategies, and tools to sustain changes for healthy lifestyles, and helping clients reduce dependence on pharmaceuticals and opioids, when relevant. As a Certified Lay Leader for Delaware Department of Public Health, Martens facilitates classes on self-management of chronic conditions, chronic pain, and Diabetes. Martens contributes to the community through his Board memberships with The Village Volunteers and the Rehoboth Beach Boys and Girls Club.
