LETTERS From CAMP Rehoboth |
In Brief |
Oops! We Goofed
In the last issue of Letters, Jennifer Rubenstein wrote a glowing review on her dining experience at Dish! which we listed as being on Rehoboth Avenue. Not so. Dish! is located at 26 Baltimore Avenue. As if one mistake weren't enough, her server Ginger was referred to as Gretchen. We hope that's the last mistake we make for awhile. Rooftop Party for July 4th Fireworks What a view!!!! On Wednesday night July 4 when Rehoboth Beach Main Street presents the Rehoboth Fireworks display, there will be a very special rooftop cocktail party atop the Atlantic Sands Hotel. The event will be a lofty cocktail party on the roof from 8-10 p.m. on fireworks night. Tickets are $25 per person, which includes two beverages, munchies and an awesome view of the show. Tickets are limited, and are being sold by calling 302-227-2772 or stopping by the Main Street office, a small cottage at the rear of the Convention Center parking lot. Main Street office hours are 9 a.m-4 p.m. weekdays. You may pay for tickets by Visa or Mastercard, check or cash. As in previous years, the display will be launched beginning about 9:15 p.m. (Rain date is the following night, July 5), with the show visible all up and down the boardwalk and shore from Dewey Beach to north of Rehoboth. The roof of the Atlantic Sands Hotel will be the place to view the stunning display prepared by Zambelli Internationale, the first family of fireworks. The fireworks will be launched from the beach again this year, making the rooftop viewing even more spectacular. Get set for a fabulous display on Sunday, July 4, and be sure to invite all your family and friends to downtown Rehoboth Beach for the event!
