LETTERS From CAMP Rehoboth |
In Brief |
Carolyn Watson Photography and CAMP will auction a personalized photo shoot for a future cover of Letters. You can bid on it at the Follies on July 26th.
The West Side New Beginnings Community Center in West Rehoboth was treated to a surprise on July 16 when representatives of the CAMP Rehoboth Ladies Golf League handed them the keys to their very own Chrysler Town & Country Van. The money for the van was generously donated by six women at the CAMP Rehoboth Golf Classic. See page 40 for more details.
Aqua Grill owners Bill Shields and Joe Maggio, along with the help of the Aqua Fire Fighters, raised $1,000 which was presented to the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Department to help purchase new fire fighting equipment. Pictured left to right are Kevin Postlewait, Jason Hinkle, Alex Mignogna, Bill Shields, Patrick Colucci, and Travis Michaels.
There's still time to sign up as a Sponsor, Supporter or Host of the 21st annual Sundance Benefit in Rehoboth Beach. The Labor Day weekend event raises funds for the Sussex County AIDS Council and CAMP Rehoboth. To sign up, or purchase tickets, go to www.sundancebenefit.com/sundance.htm
The Rehoboth Beach Convention Center was filled with animal lovers looking for fun and a bargain or two at the annual Cause 4 Paws auction on Saturday, July 12. The event raised money to help build the Safe Haven No-Kill Animal Sanctuary. See CAMPshots starting on page 68 for more photos of this and other events. |
