| Ronald E. Richards, age 63, of Timonium, Maryland and Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, died Monday, June 16, 2008, at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes, Delaware. He was born June 20, 1944 in Baltimore, Maryland, son of the late Emmitt Louis and Myrtle Marie (Sommers) Richards.
Ron loved the beach, gardening and antiques. He enjoyed his many friends and a good martini. He is survived by his partner and best friend of 10 years, Ed Shipley; his sister and best friend, Gail Richards-Cabelly; his brother-in-law, Robert Cabelly; many dear friends; and his faithful pup, Mac.
