Women's Weekend Update |
by Stefani Deoul |
Two More Wow Factors From Drew Fennell, the awesome keynote speaker, and many workshops at the conference, to the fun of the Sweet Baby J'ai and Ren Hicks concerts, the golf outing, and other social events, this year's Ninth Annual Women's Weekend again promises something for women of all ages.
For those of you attending this year's outstanding weekend line-up of talent at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center, Friday April 17 and Saturday April 18, there are two more events-within-the events taking place. And you know how we all love being in the know. Wow Factor Number One For the second year in a row, Olivia Cruises has donated for auction (proceeds to benefit CAMP Rehoboth) a trip for two on their Alaska Cruise in September. Your ship will be the ms Veendam and you will cruise past forested islands and majestic mountain ranges on this Inside Passage. Feel extra free to truly be inspired whether whale watching, dog sledding or glacier hiking, drinking in icebergs or drinking up iced martinis either way you will be stirred and not shaken with the pleasure that comes from giving to charity. Olivia began this as a thank you to the women of our area for their support and our best way of saying thank you back to them is bid high, win, and then bring six more friends along for the ride! Wow Factor Number TwoQuick Question first. What did you do at your last birthday? This year's concert with Sweet Baby J'ai brings an added, intimate delight as she shares her birthday by entertaining us. In true Rehoboth Beach style, we need to let her know that nobody likes a birthday party better than us. Be prepared to not only be therebe practicing that age-old "Happy Birthday" song. Let's be loud. Let's be proud. Let's make Sweet Baby J'ai's show one birthday she'll never forget. For more information, call CAMP Rehoboth, 302-227-5620. Women's Weekend 2009 The Year of the Wow!
