LETTERS From CAMP Rehoboth |
SPEAK Out |
Thank you! I have been trying for some time to find my friend from Sarasota High School, Patty Tressel Cramer. I had been told that she had died but that is where the information stopped. I found her life story in one of your past editions when I googled her name.
Patty was a strong imaginative woman when we were young. I am so pleased she had friends when she died that were important to her. It makes me sad that she is gone, but I was pleased to find out what happened to her parents, brother, and even what her cats had been named. Thank you again for having such a beautiful remembrance of Patty. Roxy Juckette The Rehoboth Beach Library would like to thank Kathy Weir, Sal Seeley, Michael Muller, Marcia Maldeis, Beth Fitton, Mary Morgan, Ellen Feinberg, Lesley Rogan, Chris Sampson, Jeff Moore, Teri Dunbar, Laura Simon, Cathin Bishop, Marsha Levine, Nancy Alexander, Brian Cox, Konrad Noebel, Barb Ralph, Paul MacDonald, Kim Small and the other members of CAMP Rehoboth who generously donated their time, energy and materials to help with a record-breaking book sale on Saturday, October 8. Rachel Lynch Rehoboth Beach Library Thank you very much for your contribution to the VIA's first fund raiser "Spaghetti Dinner." It was very thoughtful of you to leave us the wine, snacks, paper products, sodas, etc. that remained from your recent art auction. They will all be put to very good use at the dinner on November 18th. It's great when organizations help organizations that are working for such good purposes. As you know, all proceeds from our event will benefit the West Rehoboth New Beginnings Youth Program, and we all thank you for your generosity. Anne K. Farley Committee Member I am writing this note of gratitude to everyone who was a part of last week's Independent Film Festival. I have been a volunteer at the festival for a number of years and can personally attest to the dedication and patience of everyone involved from the sponsors, directors and staff, which I would be remiss not to mention. Sue Early, Rob Rector, and my personal favorite, Teri Dunbar. Whether a documentary or a short film, this festival strives to stimulate and broaden our perspectives on every issue. It has been a high point of another wonderful year, living in this quaint town called Rehoboth. I like to describe it now as my town.
