CAMP Safe:Needs Your Help! |
by Salvatore Seeley |
Yes, we need your help! CAMPsafe is busy planning for a fun and safe season here in Rehoboth. We have many exciting events planned for the summer season. To make our programs possible we are in need of help from the community. Here are some ways that you can get involved: We have a job opening for the summer of 2002. A Part Time Outreach Worker is needed for the CAMPsafe program to work with the Program Director to distribute safer sex packets and information at various bars, hotels and beach houses to gay and bisexual men in Rehoboth. The position is seasonal-hours are on the weekend. Contact Sal at 302-227-5620 for more information. The Community Advisory Board is in need of new members. The CAB is made up of community members that help CAMPsafe staff plan and implement its programs. We need voices from the community who can act as our liaisons in areas where prevention needs to be implemented. Our next meeting is May 22. We will provide a light dinner starting at 6:15 p.m. followed by our regular meeting at 7:00 p.m. at the CAMP Rehoboth office, 39 Baltimore Avenue, in Rehoboth Beach. CONDOM STUFFERS needed! It's that time of the year again! All are welcome to our first condom wrapping party on May 8th from 6:00 p.m. until you get tired. Join us at CAMP Rehoboth as we prepare condom packets for the summer. Meet new friends, catch up with old ones...stuff condoms! What more could you ask for? For more information on any of the above items, please contact the CAMPsafe staff at 302-227-5620. |
