LETTERS From CAMP Rehoboth |
SPEAK Out |
I just finished reading Brent Mundt's article in the May 8 issue of Letters. With a delicious wit and a wicked sense of humor he captured the hypocrisy of those right wing buffoons who actively campaign against legalization of same sex marriage.
I look forward to more articles by this talented writer. I hope he continues to chronicle the steady devolution of the Republican party as it spirals out of control. Can anyone imagine one of the de-facto leaders of the GOP, Limbaugh, Hannity, Coulter, Palin, et al, penning anything as funny and perceptive as these treasures from Brent Mundt? David Ruffo West Rehoboth Children and Youth need your help. Each summer the West Rehoboth Children and Youth Program (WRCYP) provides six activity-filled weeks for approximately 35 students from kindergarten through middle school, ages 5-15. The WRCYP is funded by the Lewes-Rehoboth Association of Churches and by donations from interested citizens. Local restaurants provide lunches for the children who are used to receiving free lunches in school. Would you consider helping an underprivileged child attend the WRCYP this summer? A donation of $70 will sponsor a child for a week in the summer program. Donations allow the program to provide field trips, special reading help and other extras impossible without additional support. If you can help with a donation sponsoring a child or two this summer, please write a check payable to WRCYP of West Side New Beginnings. Mail the donation to: WRCYP, 19801 Norwood Street, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971. Donations will be accepted through June 10. The program begins June 15. West Side New Beginnings, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) corporation which means that contributions are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Wave Starnes Letters should be addressed to Editor@camprehoboth.com or mailed to Editor, 37 Baltimore Ave., Rehoboth Beach, DE19971. Anonymous letters will not be printed. Letters may be edited for clarity and length. |
