Christopher Peterson returns with his incredible Eyecons in Hooray for Hollywood at the Rehoboth Theatre of the Arts through Labor Day; visit the marvelous Mosaic art galleries—and enjoy hors d’oeuvres at all participating galleries for their Second Saturday event, July 10 from 6-9 p.m.; hear Broadway’s Phantom of the Opera in concert; take your kids or grandkids to the Rehoboth Summer Children’s Theatre; see the wonderful weekend shows at the bandstand…is there a better beach resort in the whole world??? LIVE THEATRE
Clear Space Theatre Company (302-644-3810; ClearSpace Productions.org) Sussex County’s only year-round professional theatre company presents Ted Keegan (Broadway’s Phantom of the Opera) in his concert A Voice of Broadway on Friday, July 9 at Epworth United Methodist on Holland Glade Road. For someone who’s sung “Music of the Night” over 3,000 times, Ted makes it sound like you’ve never heard it before. Mr. Keegan also co-stars with former Miss Delaware, Erin Williams, in Irving Berlin’s musical Annie Get Your Gun—Thursday, July 22 through Sunday, August 1 at the Cape Henlopen High Theatre. Possum Point Players (441 Old Laurel Road in Georgetown; 302-856-4560; possumpointplayers.org) has several Summer Camps coming up: Grades 2-5: July 19-23 (9 a.m.-4 p.m.). Grades 6-12: August 2-6 (9 a.m.-4 p.m.) Both camps have a final show. Possum Juniors present Around the World in 80 Days—adapted from the Jules Verne novel—complete with stampeding elephants, raging typhoons and runaway trains from July 14-18. Tickets: $9/10.

All Saints Episcopal Church (18 Olive) presents Water Works—a series of organ recitals with all titles reflecting the theme. Organists Craig Campbell, Christopher Babcock, Robert Church, and Kyle Osbone play compositions of Handel, Vierne, Messian, and a new work by Guillermo Silviera. Thursdays at 12:15 p.m. through August 5.

Rehoboth Beach Museum (302-227-7310; M-F 10-4 / Weekends 11-3; Rehoboth Avenue at the Canal) presents Captain John and Sarah Avery: A 17th-Century Family on Delaware’s Frontier. The exhibit explores the shifting economic and cultural traditions of the English and Dutch colonists, and their interaction with local American Indian communities in the late 1600s and early 1700s.
