The Washington Wetskins Water Polo Clubthe worlds first gay and lesbian water polo teamwill be selling raffle tickets for $2.00 in the CAMP Rehoboth courtyard on Saturday, May 31, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. The winner will receive an all-expense paid trip for two to The Pines on Fire Island, plus tickets to the fabulous Morning Party, August 16-17. Proceeds from the raffle will be used to defray the cost of sending the team to compete in San Diego at the International Gay and Lesbian Aquatics Tournament.
The team suggests that if you cant make it to CAMP Rehoboth on Saturday afternoon, then stop by the Rehoboth Guest House, 40 Maryland Avenue, where they will be in residence for the weekend.
Its A Tony Party! A Benefit for AIDS Delaware
On Sunday, June 1, the 2nd annual Tony Awards Party will take place at Three Little Bakers Dinner Theatre in Wilmington. For a minimum $10.00 donation you can watch the Tony Awards and enjoy a cash bar and good food with good friends. Proceeds from the event will benefit the John Wills Memorial Fund of AIDS, Delaware, Inc. The fund provides emergency assistance for persons whose lives are challenged by HIV/AIDS, and who reside in New Castle County. There will also be a silent raffle and a "pick the winners" contest. Doors open at 7:00 p.m., broadcast begins at 8:00 p.m. For information call 302 368-1616.
