Becoming a resident of Rehoboth Beach last June was one of the smartest decisions I have made in my life. Not only do my longtime friendships remain in Washington, but I have developed new relationships, received support and hove been shown much care throughout the community of Rehoboth.
Recently, I leased a space in the CAMP Rehoboth courtyard and named it Lori's oy-vey Cafe. I cannot begin to express my gratitude and appreciation to everyone who helped me get the cafe together, and in just six weeks, too! Without the help and cheering on from great friends, there is no way I could have achieved this goal. After rewiring, spackling, sanding, painting, choosing and laying a tile floor, painting, creating a logo, negotiating a lease, painting, manipulating space, creating a menu, sponging the wall, painting, (I never want to see another paint brush again in my life), placing floor molding around the store, matching exact colors for business cards, tasting fabulous samples, (yeah, that was tough), going equipment shopping, borrowing paint for the window, painting the window, painting the trim, getting ads ready for LETTERS, painting trim, and hanging shelves and knick-knacks, the cafe was ready to open!
Thank you to everyone who made this opportunity possible. Thanks for believing in me. Without all of you I never could have done it.
Stop by and say hi.
Sincerely, Lori Kline
