As a businessman in the Rehoboth Beach area, I continue to be amazed by the incredible generosity of this community. People here in Sussex County support many worthwhile charities. As a supporter of PRIDE in the past years, you have demonstrated your commitment to helping others. For that, I thank you.
Glen Thompson and I would like to invite you to become a sponsor of PRIDE97. Since the first PRIDE was held in July 1991, this annual event has raised more than $136,000 to help in the fight against AIDS. May we count on your support this year? This years event benefits the Sussex County AIDS Committee (SCAC) and the John Isennock Memorial (JIM) Fund. SCAC provides many services such as financial assistance, transportation, housing, and client advocacy. The JIM Fund provides financial assistance. Together, these organizations are making a real difference in the lives of people here in Sussex County.
This years festivities will take place at the Renegade Restaurant in Rehoboth Beach on Sunday, July 27, 1997, from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. The event includes a cocktail party with open bar, a buffet catered by some of the areas finest restaurants, and a benefit auction. It also provides an opportunity for business people to socialize while showing their support for a worthwhile cause.
There are several advantages to becoming a sponsor of PRIDE97. For your $75.00 sponsorship, your name or your business name will be listed in the Sponsors Program, as well as on the Sponsors Board at the event. In addition, you will receive two complimentary tickets to the event. The names of sponsors will also be featured in advertisements to be placed in the local media the week before the event. All donations for sponsorships are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
I look forward to adding your name to the growing list of sponsors for PRIDE97. If you would like to become a sponsor right away, please call the SCAC office at (302) 644-1090.
Sincerely,
Wayne Hodge Renegade Restaurant and Lounge
