Let’s Do It! The Music of Cole Porter
The Philadelphia and Portland Gay Men’s Choruses will join in concert to present The Music of Cole Porter, Saturday, June 21 at the Rehoboth Convention Center. Tickets are on sale at pgmc.org.

Broadwalk Raises Bucks for DBCC
One of the most popular events at the CAMP Rehoboth Women’s FEST is the annual Broadwalk on the Boardwalk which takes place on the Sunday morning of Women’s FEST. This year’s walk raised $9,025 to support the work of the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition. Diving For Life Presents Check
Lambda Divers, as part of their Diving for Life fundraising efforts, recently presented CAMP Rehoboth with a check in the amount of $2,500 to support the work of the Community Center. Lambda Divers is a nonprofit, social organization dedicated to promoting scuba diving among the members of the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, and Transsexual community.
Dive In! New Dance Club Opens in RB
Dive is a new dance club in the space formerly occupied by the L Bar on Rehoboth Avenue. The club features live music, movie nights, foam and theme parties, and maybe even a cookout or two. Dive, always fun for people, is great for dogs, too, at their Friday and Saturday “Dogs and Drinks” happy hour. Dive is located at 37298 Rehoboth Avenue.
Writers’ Guild At Dogfish Head
On Tuesday, May 20, the Rehoboth Beach Writers’ Guild will host a fun night of songs and stories at Dogfish Head Brewings and Eats on Rehoboth Avenue. The free event starts at 7 p.m.
Phillips Roffman Bar Mitzvah
Members of the community joined proud parents, Douglas Phillips and Marvin Roffman, as their son Samuel became a Bar Mitzvah on Saturday, May 10 in Rehoboth Beach.
Broadway Cares at Cape High School
Students in the theatre program at Cape Henlopen High School are hosting a Gala Showcase to raise funds for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS on Saturday, May 31 at 8 p.m.
Theatre Director Martha Pfeiffer stated, “Our goal is to bring the entire arts community of both Rehoboth Beach and Lewes under one roof for a ‘one night only’ celebration of the arts.”
In addition to local artists, Christopher Peterson will be performing for the second half of the showcase, as well as serving as MC for the evening. Cashetta will also be on hand to amaze the audience with her psychic abilities.
The May 31 event will be held in the state-of-the-art theatre at Cape Henlopen High School. Tickets, $30 per person, are available at the door. 100% of the proceeds will go to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
Around the World with Letters from CAMP Rehoboth
Letters from CAMP Rehoboth is excited to continue its vacations around the world. Rick and Annette Stellhorn, of Rehoboth’s Accent on Travel, shared Letters with Tibetan and Mongolian guides while hosting 26 people on a custom tour in May. “Both guides were quite interested in content, and it opened up an even deeper cultural exchange,” said Annette.
Letters, in digital form, then visited Cancun, Quintana Roo, Mexico with Donna Girod, Lisa Mathena, Cathy Benson, and Susan Jiménez as part of a great getaway planned by Olivia.
