New Beginnings
The Gregorian calendar begins with a month named for the two-faced God, Janus, who has the ability to look to the past and the future at the same time. While I will admit that it is human nature to ponder the successes and failures of our past, life only moves in one direction—denying us the chance to correct the missteps of the days we’ve already lived. I encourage each of you to look only to the future and welcome the coming of each day as a new beginning—your own personal New Year—and celebrate every day like a holiday. Make a resolution to include the arts in your lives, as they broaden the human experience. Turn off the news and the computer and get out of your cave before it’s too late. All locations are Rehoboth Beach, unless otherwise noted.
