Rehoboth's Bit of Britannia On Rehoboth Avenue under the huge Union Jack British flag is Go Fish! The eye-popping sign was done by local artist Wendy Carr and the fish 'n chips carry-out is owned and operated by Gary Reynolds and Alison Blyth-Baghouli. The authentic fish and chips recipe comes from Gary's mom in Northhampton (U.K., not MA.)-both he and Alison are British transplants to Rehoboth. Gary met business partner Alison when he came here in 1985 and they were both working at a downtown restaurant. Since then, they have both been affiliated with La La Land (she was part owner) and now Alison is an owner of both Go Fish! and Yum Yum Pan Asian Bistro on Wilmington Avenue. Go Fish! specializes in battered fish and chips (real English fries) plus other seafood delicacies like crab cakes, soft shell crab sandwiches and seafood wraps. The sizzling fryer is going all day long and people are just raving about the perfectly cooked fish and crispy fries. With their sign just completed, look for their next art project to perk up the look of the Go Fish! front door. Cheerio and go fish! Go Fish!, 24 Rehoboth Ave., is open daily.
