Meet & Mingle with Well-Strung Performers after Upcoming Concert

Concertgoers lucky enough to snag tickets for the September 26th performance by the popular all-male string quartet, “Well-Strung,” are in for a rare treat. Following the 9 p.m. concert at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center, ticket holders will be invited to meet and mingle with the musicians immediately following the show. Audience members can stroll across the Avenue to Dos Locos Fajita & Stonegrill Restaurant (one of the event’s presenting sponsors) for a drink, some light fare and an opportunity to rub shoulders with the performers. Dos Locos owners, Joe Zuber and Darryl Ciarlante, will be donating 10% of all sales during the meet and mingle to host and concert beneficiary, CAMP Rehoboth Community Center.

Well-Strung performs for sold-out crowds around the world. They are accomplished classical artists with a sense of flair (and humor), who put their own spin on Mozart and Vivaldi, but also take on Rihanna, Adele, Lady Gaga, and other contemporary artists. They first performed in Rehoboth last year (at three sold-out concerts) and are returning with an all-new show: POPssical. Video clips from some of the group’s performances can be viewed online.

Jennifer Rubenstein, a resident of Rehoboth Beach, saw them last year. “Well-Strung is thoroughly enjoyable,” she says. “We were riveted from the moment they started playing classical and seamlessly transitioned to pop, all the way through to the standing ovation. What a night!” Stephen Manos, one of the show’s presenting sponsors, adds: “The Well-Strung group puts on an amazing show! The clever way that they mash up classical and popular music is brilliant!”

The group consists of first violinist Edmund Bagnell, second violinist Christopher Marchant, cellist Daniel Shevlin, and violist Trevor Wadleigh. Individually and as a group, they have played concerts around the world, and have theater credits in addition to their impressive musical accomplishments. Well-Strung has been featured in a wide variety of newspapers and magazines and has appeared on television news programs and the Today Show.

The presenting sponsors for this year’s show are Stephen Manos, and Dos Locos Fajita & Stonegrill Restaurant. The sponsors for the show are Charlie Lee, and Horst’s Consulting Services, Inc.

The concert is being presented by CAMP Rehoboth, an organization that provides services to the LGBT community and promotes a culture of inclusion in Rehoboth Beach. Tickets are going fast and range from $35 to $100—for seats at cabaret-style tables up front. They may be purchased at CAMP Rehoboth (37 Baltimore Avenue) during office hours or on the CAMP Rehoboth website. As this event will likely sell out, participants are strongly encouraged to purchase tickets now.
