Thank You SCOTUS! DOMA Goes Down!
On June 26, the CAMP Rehoboth Community Center was packed all day with folks celebrating the announcement that the U.S. Supreme Court had struck down DOMA—the Defense of Marriage Act. The ruling means that same-sex couples who can legally marry in Delaware beginning July 1 will be entitled to all the federal benefits afforded married heterosexuals.

Gender Identity Bill Becomes Law in DE
We’re finally giving protection to the “T” in the LGBT family of Delaware. On June 19, Delaware Governor Jack Markell signed legislation which adds gender identity and expression as a protected class to the state’s hate crime and non-discrimination laws.

Bachelor Auction Returns to Aqua
What’s a summer at the beach without the CAMP Rehoboth Bachelor Auction? The popular event returns to Aqua on Saturday, August 3 at 5 p.m. Auctioneer Lorne Crawford, with sponsors Bad Hair Day and Universal Gear, will offer dinner for two at one of Rehoboth’s top restaurants to the highest bidder on a number of Rehoboth’s most eligible bachelors.
