March 9, 2018 - Speak Out - Letters to Letters

Here’s a HUGE thank you to the Double L Bar, Murph’s Beef and Ale, the Rehoboth Beach Bears, The Auto Gallery, and CAMP Rehoboth for once again “knocking it out of the park” supporting our 10th annual toy drive. Special thanks to our Santa Kenny Mahan (who sewed his own outfit), John Meng who brought his fire truck, Michael Muller for creating the advertising poster, and Sal Seeley who helped promote and make sure the toys were delivered.

This year, we collected two full truckloads of clothing and toys, including six bicycles! And as the donations have continued to grow, we have been able reach even more under-served communities including the children and families of the Sussex County HIV/AIDS Wellness Center, ACE Peer Resource Center in Georgetown and Seaford, as well as local families through CAMP Rehoboth.

The toy drive is a perfect example of what makes our Rehoboth Beach community truly GREAT, and it reminds us there is still so much to be thankful for in these uncertain times.
