Reduce anxiety and stress, improve circulation, protect joints, build strength and balance, and support your overall well-being. Yoga also can help reduce cravings and simply make us feel good. The Men's Discussion Group is a safe and nurturing space to start conversations important to our community. We celebrate who we are, we promote respect and understanding, and we accept each other's differences with intention to build a more connected community. This discussion group is a safe space for gay, bisexual, transgender and masculine of center men to talk issues, values, and matters that make up our lives, free from stigma and judgments. We will have a dynamic conversation about the life transitions of retirement and aging. During our 10 weekly sessions, we will share support and new perspectives as we investigate the importance of renewing or finding purpose. We will maintain our aliveness as we nurture ourselves and others. The group will be facilitated by two experienced, retired psychotherapists who are also navigating this transition: Davis Short, LCSW/LCSW-C, is retired after 40 years of clinical consultation; Batya Hyman is Professor Emerita, Salisbury University School of Social Work.
